Gozour Foundation for Development (GFD) is an Egyptian non-profit organization registered under the Ministry of Social Solidarity, No 7885/2010; new reg. No. 1191/2024. The Foundation was established to become a catalytic agent in tackling the underlying causes of underdevelopment and supporting the advancement of disadvantaged individuals to rejuvenate themselves and pave the way for them to become productive assets in the society.
Our Mission
To enhance sustainable livelihoods of marginalized groups in Egypt by supporting their efforts in alleviating poverty, illiteracy and diseases.

Awards
French Republic’s Award for NGOs in 2014:
GFD has been awarded the French Republic’s Award for Human Rights “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity” for NGOs in 2014. This award is announced annually and awarded for individual or collective action on the ground, irrespective of nationality or borders, undertaken in France or abroad, with respect to issues of community development and human rights.
CSR360 Network
GFD was selected to be the representative of the CSR360 Network in Egypt. The CSR360 Global Partner Network is a global network of not-for-profit organizations working with businesses to improve their positive impact on society.
